In 2020, during a few months in which almost all activity stopped so that we could be at home, some took the opportunity to train, research and innovate in their work. This was the case of Jonatan Díaz, glass artist and creator of Reflektium. During this time, Jonatan discovered high-resolution mirrors and began to investigate with them. "What if I combine these mirrors with the coloured glass I use for the stained glass windows? The rest has been a hard work of trial and error in which even insignificant failures have been productive.
Jonatan Díaz is Master Glassmaker and founder of Vitromar, his stained glass studio. He is characterised by his effort to perpetuate the art of stained glass, taking it beyond just windows or doors, innovating in new applications for his pieces. With extensive knowledge of traditional techniques, Jonatan is constantly researching new techniques and materials in search of excellence in each piece.
Attracted by everything that can be done with glass, apart from stained glass, Jonatan has investigated new materials and techniques as optical glass and high definition mirrors among others, from which Reflektium emerged.
He has been awarded the Prize for Outstanding Work of Craftsmanship 2022 for this line of kaleidoscopes.

Reflektium is a line of interactive sculptural kaleidoscopes. They are works of art, and as such are ornamental pieces. But besides just being contemplated, you can interact with them, as they allow you to immerse yourself in a world of colour, a window to a new dimension that produces a state of relaxation, calm and concentration, especially if accompanied by music.
Yes, we can modify the exterior colours, the interiors, some of the interior effects, or even create a new one from the idea you give us. We are not afraid of challenges.
If it is an in-stock item, we only have to pack it and ship it, so in 3 working days it should be in the whole peninsula and Balearic Islands, 5 days in Europe and 7-10 days in the rest of the continents.
If it is a customised or made-to-order item, we will confirm the lead time at the time of order. However, the average lead time can be between 7 and 15 days.
It is possible, and in that case we will notify you. But please, consider that we work with unique, handmade pieces and that we do not mass-produce, so there may be pieces that are similar to others but no two will ever be identical. The exterior glass is also handmade and it is impossible to get two identical pieces with the same texture pattern.
This, far from being an inconvenience, guarantees that your piece is unique and you will not find another one like it.
Reflektium are not toys. They are pieces of art and are made of glass that could break and cause injury if dropped or knocked. However, they do not contain toxic materials or small parts that could become a risk. Although children can use them, and in fact they love to look inside, we recommend that they are always used under adult supervision.
Yes, definitely. And you are invited to visit our workshop and see how we create unique pieces in glass. There is no extra charge for pick up at the workshop. You only have to confirm your visit. In the Contact section you have all the contact methods available.
